Following the pandemic, I have struggled with the loss of industry connections, venues, weddings & recurring gigs as people retired, changed careers, or moved on. I found myself lamenting the lack of work, hesitant to start over. Now, in 2025, I have decided to shift my view & look at my career from a different perspective: I’m not starting over; I’m simply aligning more closely with my purpose, ambitions & dreams. Instead of simply waiting for doors to open, I’m choosing to start knocking with confidence, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead and saying “yes” to those that not only resonate with who I truly am but know the value & worth I am offering.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve completely redesigned my website, refined my branding, and immersed myself in learning—marketing, AI, social media—all to streamline and integrate my various talents & skills. I’m not just a singer; I am a storyteller, healer, and connector. Through education, meditation, and action, I’m finding a cohesive approach to bring my music, sound healing, speaking, and travel curation together in a way that makes sense both for me and for those I serve.
With renewed clarity and courage, I’m forging new relationships and reigniting former ones, seeking the best ways in which to inspire, entertain, heal, and connect. I can no longer continue with small thinking or living. I am completely expanding into my purpose and stepping into spaces where I can make a true positive impact in this world where so many are feeling apprehensive, disconnected & hopeless. I want to offer a beacon of love, light & frequency! Already, just taking the first steps into this new mindset, I have found that doors are opening before I have a chance to knock, and that I have found myself getting back into the flow & stream of life, which feels incredibly rejuvenating.
As I turn 44 this month, I recognize that these numbers, according to numerology, are very symbolic, and the meaning really is resonating with all that I am feeling at this time in my life! In numerology, the number 44 is a Master Number, carrying powerful vibrations of stability, discipline, abundance, and manifestation. It is often referred to as the "Master Healer" or the "Master Builder" because it symbolizes the ability to turn dreams into reality through determination and hard work.
What I find to be interesting is that 2025 is also the year of the wood snake, which also, interestingly enough aligns with my 44th year… In Chinese astrology, 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake, bringing a unique blend of wisdom, patience, transformation, and steady expansion. The Snake is known for its intelligence, intuition, and strategic thinking, while the Wood element adds qualities of growth, stability, and adaptability. This combination makes 2025 a year of slow but powerful progress, where careful planning and persistence lead to long-term success and personal transformation.
All this to say—the energy of 2025, the numerological mysticism of turning 44, and the powerful astrological shifts happening right now are only fueling my motivation and clarity. I never used to pay much attention to planets or numbers, but I’m finding them incredibly insightful and affirming as I step into this year with renewed purpose and expansion.
